I am an Easter person....Alleluia! To be a disciple of The Risen Lord Our Savior is my redemption and salvation! For I have seen miracles each day all around me and my hope is in Our Lord.   In the “olden days” of my hi-de-ho youth, I never stopped to realize the enormity of Christ’s resurrection in my life, for then, old death on his pale white horse hadn’t touched me.

But with each loss, I needed more and more the blessed assurance, the promise fulfilled. Easter is my key, the promise will and has been fulfilled. This is just “the rehearsal “.

In my daily life, I soon will have thirty years of living one day at a time. Without complete surrender to my God, I would still be “ la vida de fiesta”...or dead. God has a plan for me and each of us!

Each day I am resurrected to a new life with the blessed assurance that

God loves and watches over me come what may. Remembering Katrina, my Dad’s death, evacuation by helicopter with people shooting at us, and now the pandemic! All with that blessed assurance that Jesus is with me.
