Lent offers a time for self-reflection, in the faith that God's light will bring healing wherever there is brokenness. Lent also can be a time for collective reflection. A time to consider how we can invite Divine love and healing even in how we institutionally address the brokenness of juvenile crime in our community.
On March 26, 2025, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, the Trinity Restorative Justice Committee will offer its second in a series of listening and storytelling services in the chapel. This gathering will focus on the work and successes of the Louisiana Center for Children's Rights, which offers not just court-appointed and free legal representation to juvenile defendants but also life-sustaining support to restore these young people as valued members of their families and communities.
