Faith and Fiction gathers each Sunday to discuss primarily secular short stories through a Christian lens.
Together, we look for glimpses of the divine, expressions of God’s grace, and insights into living according to the teachings of Jesus. Like the parables, stories about the lives of others can deepen our understanding of ourselves, our neighbors, and our faith.
Through thoughtful conversation and the sharing of different perspectives and lived experiences, we seek to:
- explore meaningful questions about our shared humanity
- appreciate experiences different from our own
- create space for those who question and examine their faith
- recognize love, forgiveness, and grace in everyday encounters and struggles
- grow in faith, fellowship, and friendship
Faith and Fiction meets every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the Menge Board Room at Jack’s House, with the option to join via Zoom. New members and drop-in visitors are always welcome!
