Discovering God’s Vision for Your Life: You and Your Spiritual Gifts (September 9, 16, 23, and 30)
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
—1 Corinthians 12:4-7
What Are Your God-Given Gifts?
Have you ever thought of your talents as spiritual gifts? Many of us have never taken a clear, honest look at what those gifts might be. As Frederick Buechner wrote, “The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
Join us this fall for Discovering God’s Vision for Your Life: You and Your Spiritual Gifts. This course will help you identify your God-given gifts and talents, connect them with your faith, and explore meaningful ways to serve in the church and the world.
Choose the schedule that works best for you:
- Four Wednesday evenings: September 9, 16, 23, and 30, 6:00 – 8:30 pm
- A two-part Saturday retreat: October 17 and 24, 9:00 am – 3:15 pm
Both groups will meet in the Menge Family Board Room. A $15 fee covers your personal assessment and participant manual. Following the course, you’ll explore how your spiritual gifts connect with our shared life at Trinity and how God might be calling you to serve in our parish and wider community.
Registration is limited to 25 participants in each group. Register by September 1.
