Restorative Justice Listening Session (October 27) Join us for a faith-centered evening of listening, learning, prayer, and reflection on immigration enforcement and its impact on people in our community.
Our nation’s approach to immigration has long been a focus of media coverage and political debate. Yet we hear far less about the lives of people in our own community affected by immigration enforcement.
How might we listen to their stories—not only as citizens, but as a Trinity community striving to “love our neighbors, do justice, and walk humbly with God”?
The Trinity Restorative Justice Committee invites you to explore that question through brief presentations from people working in immigration law and migrant child protection services, along with Scripture readings, prayer, and meditative reflection.
Participants will be invited to ask questions and join the conversation. A reception following the program will offer additional time for fellowship and discussion.
