Mary is a lifelong member of Trinity Church. Her parents, Martha and Nelson Jones, met and married at Trinity. She has three brothers, one sister, and two cats (Toby and Abigail Grace). She also has seven nieces, seven nephews, four great nieces and three great nephews.
Mary is a retired Social Worker, having received her MSW from Tulane. She primarily worked in child welfare and later, in disaster response and relief.
In March 2014, Mary was appointed to the position of Verger to assist clergy with the ordering (coordination) of religious services.
Mary enjoys volunteering with the Women of Trinity Church (having served as President in 2017) and assisting with the Rummage Sales, Trinity Treasures Bookstore and Bake Sales. She also volunteers in the development office at WYES TV.
