The Trinity Loaves & Fishes (TLF) hot food operation has relocated to the kitchen of Christ Church Cathedral at the corner of St. Charles Ave and Sixth Street. At TLF, we value our community partnerships and are thrilled that the Cathedral has graciously offered to share their gorgeous kitchen space.
Currently, TLF prepares 200 hot meals every Thursday, delivered to five partner sites across New Orleans: Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Crescent Care Clinic, Lazarus House, Mercy Endeavors, and the Start Corporation Youth Drop-In Center. These meals directly support unhoused youth, senior citizens, and community living centers. During the summer, we'll shift our focus to providing meals to summer camps in the 7th Ward and Holly Grove neighborhoods.
By mid-2024, our goal is to expand our hot meal offerings by introducing a weekend program once a month. This will provide more opportunities for youth and working parents to prepare, serve and deliver meals to our most vulnerable neighbors.
