Fundraising Progress

Trinity Church and School launched its joint capital campaign, Trinity 2024: Together We Build, on March 25, 2022. This is our first capital campaign in over a decade and the most ambitious to date. We are making great progress with the seven capital projects and our campaign fundraising. With the support of 201 generous donations, we have successfully raised over $10,600,000 towards the $13 million campaign goal.

Completed Projects

  • The first completed project, a new athletic turf field, has been an exciting addition used by the students and the Trinity community since the beginning of 2022 and was officially dedicated and named the Ripley Family Field on January 6, 2023.
  • Repairs to the church roof and sanctuary, damaged by Hurricane Ida in 2021, have been completed. Worship will return to our historic sanctuary after two long years with a special Grand Homecoming on Sunday, September 17, 2023. The Together We Build capital campaign provided $1,000,000 to support this very important project. We cannot wait to welcome our Trinity community HOME!

Ongoing Projects

  • The renovation of the historic house on Josephine and Coliseum Streets is in progress. The building will officially be named the Weinmann Center for Pastoral Care and Administrative Complex and affectionately referred to as “Jack’s House” in honor of the late John “Jack” G. Weinmann. Construction is scheduled to be complete by Summer 2024.
  • Program planning for our fourth capital project, the Kelsey Bradley Favrot Family Nursery, began in October 2022, and the School aspires to have the new nursery open by Fall or Winter 2024.

This year, Trinity celebrates its 176th anniversary as a congregation. Our goal with this capital campaign is to ensure Trinity will continue to provide spiritual support, formational excellence, and a world-class education for our children, families, and parish for another 176 years.

We would love to have your support in this collaborative fundraising effort to reach our $13 million goal by 2024. For more information on all seven capital projects, please visit www.Trinity2024.org or contact Abbie Sumners, Capital Campaign Director, at asumners@trinitynola.com or (504) 670-2522.
