Celebrating Our Graduates

Trinity School Chaplain Rev. Robert Hadzor reflects on the formation, traditions, and faith that shape Trinity graduates as the Class of 2026 prepares to begin its next chapter.

Trinity Episcopal School has been a ministry of the church since 1960. Over the years, Trinity has celebrated nearly 2,000 graduates who have gone into the world to make a meaningful impact.

On Friday, May 22, we will say goodbye to 16 students as they join that number. Many of these young men and women have been part of the Trinity community since before they could even walk.

At Trinity, we strive to form ‘upstanders’ who live lives that are ‘gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave.

One of Trinity’s strongest traditions is our daily chapel. While our youngest students in Les Enfants and our kindergarteners in the Pink House gather weekly, our Lower and Middle School students begin each school day in the sanctuary. This means that a graduate who has been with us since first grade has spent nearly 500 hours of their lives in the pews of our church.

At Trinity, we strive to form “upstanders” who live lives that are “gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave.” In chapel, we reflect on what these qualities mean and how they shape our daily lives. In the classroom, students engage in meaningful work that helps them grow into empathetic citizens. Through athletics, they learn
teamwork and perseverance, and through the arts, they discover how to create with passion and purpose.

I invite you to keep our graduates and their families in your prayers this week. Pray that they continue to grow in integrity and seize opportunities to make the world a better place. Pray that they continue their journey of seeking a deeper understanding of God and the world around them, however that may look for them and wherever that journey may lead.

Congratulations, graduates. Now go do good.
