The Rector Search Committee continues to make steady progress in our search for Trinity’s next rector. Since the middle of June, the committee has been meeting weekly or every other week, with our primary focus recently on completing our Vocation Hub submission and beginning work on the Parish Profile.
A filming crew has been engaged to help us tell Trinity’s story and will be with us during all worship services and Breakfast Formation on Sunday, August 30.
The Vocation Hub is The Episcopal Church’s national online resource connecting churches seeking clergy with priests who are exploring new calls.
Our submission includes factual information about Trinity and the rector position, but perhaps more importantly, it gives us an opportunity to describe who we are as a parish and the qualities we are seeking in our next rector.
We have been drawing extensively on what we learned through the Holy Cow! survey and our many listening sessions. Because this will likely be a prospective candidate’s first impression of Trinity, we have been giving considerable thought to how best to present our parish and attract a strong and diverse pool of candidates.
We have largely completed the Vocation Hub submission and have now turned our attention to the Parish Profile. The Profile will provide a more comprehensive look at Trinity—our community, ministries, formation opportunities, and hopes for our new rector. It will be presented digitally and will include video content showcasing life at Trinity. For those who prefer a more traditional format, a downloadable and printable version will also be available.

We hope you will join us that day and help us show prospective candidates the wonderful life and energy of our parish! The videographer will also be on campus throughout September, capturing other aspects of life at Trinity. This content will be presented in several short videos to be included in the Parish Profile.
We remain on schedule to present drafts of both the Vocation Hub submission and Parish Profile to the Vestry for approval by mid-September. Following Vestry approval, the materials will be submitted to the Bishop for diocesan approval.
Our goal is to have everything approved, go live on Vocation Hub, and publish the Parish Profile by mid-October. Around that same time, we also plan to share the results of the Holy Cow! survey with the congregation in a live presentation.
Assuming we remain on schedule, we expect to receive and review candidate submissions and begin narrowing the field during November and December. More extensive interviews, due diligence, and further narrowing of the field are anticipated in January and February 2027. As with any search of this nature, the timeline may need to be adjusted based on candidate availability and other circumstances.
