The Word is very near you.
It is in your lips and in your heart.
- Romans 10:8
As I reflect on this past year, I am so humbled and grateful to those folks who share their writing and deep commitment to this ministry. It has always seemed to me that as much as I dislike learning new technology, the Daily Meditations have given us the opportunity to share our deepest spiritual yearnings with one another for many years now. This year in particular, the meditations have been offered to 785 subscribers! Many of whom are far away, and all of whom have been offered the loving word of Christ - despite social isolation created by COVID and physical distance between us. The added musical and artistic offerings have enriched the experience of our cyber community even more deeply!
On Sunday, June 13, we took the opportunity to say thank you during our worship and to meet the writers during coffee hour. It is my hope and prayer that this ministry will flourish for many years to come. If you are interested in subscribing or in writing and would like to contribute, please contact Maria Elliott at melliott@trinitynola.com.
With deep gratitude to these writers for sharing
their faith through contemplation of the Word.

Musical Reflection - Verbum Caro Factum Est - Hassler Heritage Choir
O God, whom saints and angels delight to worship in heaven: Be ever present with your servants who seek through the contemplation of your Word and their own written reflections, to perfect the praises offered by your people on earth; and grant to them even now glimpses of your beauty, and make them worthy at length to behold it unveiled for evermore; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
